Comments

The ColumnSize event occurs when the user resizes the columns or moves the vertical splitter bar of a split tree control.

When a user is about to resize a column, the ColumnSizeStarted event occurs (as the user presses the left mouse button in the column resizing area, before the column width changes). As the column is resized, the ColumnSize event can occur multiple times. Once the user releases the mouse button used to resize the column, the ColumnSizeEnded event occurs. These events also occur identically during splitter bar resizing.

The ColumnSize event allows the application to adjust the column sizes if necessary, after the user resizes the columns.

The Headers.ResizeColumn property contains the number of the column being resized or -1 if the vertical splitter bar of a split tree control is moved.

The Headers.Resizable property can be used to disable resizable columns.  Individual columns can be locked in size by using the Header.Locked property.
